On Sunday, August 18, Juliette Vera Morris was baptized in Saint Francis Xavier Church in Acushnet.
Family members and friends were gathered together for Mass at 10:30 in the morning, and stayed for the Baptism. Father Bryan McGruff was kind to be the priest to baptize Juliette.
In this picture, we have Mrs. Morris talking to Karen O'Reiley. Paula is speaking to Julie Morris. Uncle Mark is in the background, looking back towards where John and Elizabeth Waclawik were sitting.
Uncle Ralph Morris is the godfather, and Gabrielle Royal is the godmother.
During the ceremony.
This boy (is this Daniel?) is amusing himself using the iPhone reverse camera as a mirror, as he checks out his funny faces and sticking out his tongue.
Amelie is sitting with Stefanie and Mike.
Little Timmy Cael like the candle. He wants to hold it.
Juliette starts to fuss a little bit toward the end of the ceremony, so Sarah held her face down and gently rock her a little.
Father Bryan blessing the mother
and the father. Little Timmy wasn't sure what this is all about.
Back at home, there is a big jumpy tent set up in the driveway. All the children had fun jumping and sliding in it. At the end of the day, the adults had fun doing the same. Here is JP.
and Timmy, and two of the Morris children in the background.
Plenty of good food in the house and drinks on the veranda.
Mrs. Morris made this quilt for Juliette. It is in beautiful purple. Here is Juliette trying it on.
Tim, JP, and Timmy Cael in the Jumpee at the end of the day having fun.
The Jumpee door is nicely covered by netting, so children won't fall out unintentionally. Timmy Cael mastered the art of crawling in and out of the door in no time.
